Hello everybody,
I would like to add a MaxIndex (MaxIDX) column. To implement this based on an ID number. As an an example:
ID | Date | MaxIDX |
587 | 22.02.2021 | 2 |
4711 | 23.02.2021 | 3 |
815 | 24.02.2021 | 2 |
815 | 25.02.2021 | 1 |
4711 | 26.02.2021 | 2 |
123 | 27.02.2021 | 1 |
789 | 28.02.2021 | 2 |
789 | 01.03.2021 | 1 |
587 | 02.03.2021 | 1 |
4711 | 03.03.2021 | 1 |
I think the solution is to do it with the Multi-Row Formula.
Exemplary way:
(Group By: ID) Expression: MaxIDX ([Date],?all Rows?) Now here is my question how do I select all rows?
With Best Regards,
Michael
Hi @MichaelHa,
I think you need to use summarize tool in order to calculate how many ID's we got.
Output:
Hello @MichaelHa ,
I think the way to go to get your needs would be using the summarize tool. It has a lot of power and a big amount of formulas added to it which may be helpfult to you in the future.
Would recommend you to take a few minutes and see what it is capable of.
