How to seperate data and append data to an existing excel file?

 I know how to separate data and save them to different files by RENDER tool, but I don't know how to append them to an existing file at the same time. 

 

For example, I will create 3 new sheets from below table and one includes EMEA data, one includes APAC data and another includes AMER data. Then I will insert each sheet to the existing file say sales.xlsx as a new sheet. So at the end, I shall have 3 files. Any help will be much appreicated.

if i am right you want one file with three sheets?

Do you want three files or three sheets ?

 

Chose the formula between Sheet or File, then chose the right field in the output. Suppose you can work on that base.

Sorry, I need 3 files. i.e. table data need to be separated by region at first and then inserted to AN existing file for 3 times and saved to 3 new files.

 

So if the original file is called 'sales' with one sheet which name is 'summary', then I need seperate original table to 3 sheets called APAC, EMEA and AMER at first. Then I will insert APAC to original file 'sales' as a new sheet and save it as a new file called sales APAC. This file should now have 2 sheets, the old one is 'summary' and  the new one is 'APAC'. Then I will insert EMEA sheet to original file 'sales' as a new sheet and save it as a new file called sales EMEA. This file should also have 2 sheets, the old one is 'summary' but the new one is 'EMEA'. I will do the same for AMER.

 

My problem is I know how to use RENDER to separate the original table and save to 3 different files but they can not be appended to the original file. The OUTPUT tool can be used to append new data to an existing file but it can only manage 1 file.

If you want to split an existing sheet in 3, you have to import it, then add a column to specify what line goes in what new sheet, and then do the same process than above.

 

If the initial sheet has to stay the same for the three outputs, then create a new identical file that you will rename and then add a new sheet as above.

 

Without an example of your files I can't go further
