remove extra space

Hi

I need:

logic that can identify and remove if 2+ spaces or extra space at beginning or end of data - cant I use Data Cleanse for this?

Also, in the State column I see .Texas  and I see 0Texas

How do I remove the .  and 0 in front of Texas?

Which goes with this requirement

• Remove symbols except - &
  • Omit extra space left for these symbols: ‘ . , #
  • Leave space in place of for these symbols: / +

Try Trim, ReplaceChar, Replace
