receiving NULLS

hi

i have column names SALES, PROFIT,ASSESTS, MARKET-VALUE( have numerical numbers) with data-type V_String 

i have converted it into double data-type using select tool

but im receiving NULLS in SALES, PROFIT,ASSESTS, MARKET-VALUE

What does the data look like before you convert it?if it contains any non numeric values it won't convert.

You have the option in the Multi-Field Formula to change the output as well, so you don't need to use the select tool:

This means you need to format your text before converting it to a double.

Sorry my bad i tried to convert 100B type into numerical

now the issue is resolved
