moving designer to another server

 I upgraded designer from version 2019 to 2022. I found that the old computer connected to the local machine to run the scheduler, On the new server I try to connect to the local machine and it doesn't work. it asks for a token, I saw documentation that discusses connecting to the server product but this is not server only the designer is running. Do you know how to connect the schedular to the local computer. 

The guy who used to take care of this has left the company.
