losing data when importing from .xlsx

Hi All,

I`m having an issue with importing a .xlsx file,in the attached image it shows that the input data preview has all the relevant data, however in the input data tool anchor it removes the date values. Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be and how to fix it.

Attached is a sample input file.

Hi,

Your data is still there it's just on a new line within the cell...

If you run it through data cleansing selecting "Tabs, Line Breaks, Duplicate White Space" then it will appear:

Hi @Reinierk,

To complete @LordNeilLord great explanations, you may have noticed the little red triangle in the top right corner of some cells. It means that there is something special with the content of the cell. Further information could be obtained by hovering the triangle without clicking. Full data could be seen by clicking on Cell Viewer.

Example:

1. Hovering little red triangle:

2. Select cell to show further details and click Cell Viewer

3. Click on Cell Viewer again to hide it
