date formatting in vstring not able to convert to date format

Hi I have a excel input file with date in this format 43334 (vsting format) and I have used formula and datetime tool but not getting converted in my csv output file 

DateTimeFormat([App Launched Date],"%m/%d/%y")  

Can you please help

use the below formula to convert it to date.

ToDate(ToNumber([Date]))
