Warning Message: There may be truncated strings in the data to be copied

Inactive User
Not applicable

When copying data from the results window I sometimes get the warning message:

"There may be truncated strings in the data to be copied. Are you sure you want to do this?"

Any insights on what triggers this message?

Thank You.

Hi,

I guess, the fact that you're copying the cells directly from the tool connector (which is a partial result). If you try to put after the tool a browse tool and copy the same record from there, you don't get the message. Because the browse tool let you see the whole result.

Regardless, is there a way to turn this message off completely?

+1 for adding it to user settings?

I would greatly appreciate it!

Would also like to be able to toggle off this warning in user settings
