Visual Layout-render. Left justify selected results in right justifed output (Excel)

Hi,

I can't figure out if this is me missing a setting somewhere, or if it is a genuine issue.

I am using the visual layout tool to layout a number of text and table snippets into a single output. 

The text snippets are all left justified in the Report Text tools and display as left justified in the visual layout tool. 

However, when I render this output to Excel, the text snippets are all right justified. (Doesn't happen if rendered to pdf).

I have tried setting the justification to centre in the report text tool, and when this is rendered, it outputs correctly as centre justified. 

Any suggestions on how to correct this would be appreciated - I really need the output left justified.
