Hi Guys,
Asking again for your expertise on this scenario.
Either of the visual layout you are seeing have data. Problem arise when I combined both using union tool and no data available was produced. I have 5 containers and need to combined the results in excel.
I do hope you could help me find the solution in producing the output visible so that I am able to combine them. See below screenshots for your reference.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Kamen
@KamenRider before you put the union in, were both visual layout tools giving you a data put?
Hi @aatalai
Its either of the visual layout. They will not produce both since its like there is a yes or no command that if it meets the requirements, it will go to True and produce output and if False, it will proceed to the second visual layout to produce the output.
Let let me know if you have questions or if you did not get what I meant.
Looking forward for your assistance.

What happens when you run the workflow?
After connecting the two visual layout using the union tool, the data didn't comes out, rather it resulted to "No Data Available". Is there any a way or maybe additional tool we could add to show the results? I need to merge the results of the five containers wherein final results will be save in an excel.
Looking forward for your assistance on this matter.

The reason I asked what happens when you click run, is that I wanted to confirm that you did indeed click run. This answer is assuming you did that.
The union should be showing both Layout placeholders for images like:
If I'm understanding what you are trying to do, you want both results to go to the union and one will always fail while the other should always have data. In that case, your union tool should look like this:
If the union tool is showing no data after the run, that should indicate that there is no image coming from either visual layout tool. I can see from your browse tools that it appears one does have an image, so I'm a bit confused as well. Can you run again and provide a screenshot of the output anchor on both visual layout tools (not the browse tool)?
Hi @jdminton
Sorry for my late reply. In my understanding you are right with your analysis. As requested, here are the snapshots of both of my visual layout.
When I combined them using the Union tool, no data comes out which is not the case I wanted.
Per your note "If I'm understanding what you are trying to do, you want both results to go to the union and one will always fail while the other should always have data. In that case, your union tool should look like this: "
Yes this is what I wanted.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

That should not be what you get. What is your configuration on the union tool?
Wow, @KamenRider. This should be working for you. I used the example layout from Alteryx and created two unions (one has both outputs, the other just one). Can you see if that works correctly for you?
