Facing difficulty in saving the file. I tried to save the workflow but Alteryx gave no response at all. What is the reason for that?

You are trying to use the Save option.
If you have already saved the file with Filename (For Eg: Counting numbers)
Then post changes in the workflow, when you are using Save option. It will save the changes to the existing filename Counting Numbers.
There will be no message prompted, by the workflow will get saved. Might be you feel like no action happened after you click save button.

However if you are using the Save button for an unsaved workflow, then it will prompt the location to save like usual dialog box.
You can check in top of the workflow to check whether it is saved or not.

This occurs because you don't have the workflow overwriting to an existing workflow.
You will need to follow the steps below:
1) File --> Save as and save the workflow in a specific location
2) From here you will be able to overwrite the workflow by clicking File --> Save.

Thank you for your replies. What I tried to save is a new workflow (i.e., not saved before). However, Alteryx didn't have any window popped up to save the file to a location or anything.
@wenwyang I have seen this issue only once with a customer and it went away on its own after a week. I would suggest submitting a ticket with support here https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Support/bd-p/SupportPage
Would be curious to see what may be the cause. Hopefully support can sort it out!
