Tracking Alteryx runs

Hello experts,
We have developed an Alteryx application for a business case. There are few Alteryx based macros and in the package along with application. Now we are passing the flow to another service line within the firm. But would like to keep track of every Alteryx runs happening for every client. i.e., Who runs the flow, what's the client name, date of execution, stuffs like that and preferably  append the details to a database. But how do I set up this? Could the connection setup(the connection to the dBs) needs to be done on every machine who runs the flow? What's the correct way of approaching the problem?
