The design screen looks a bit weird

Hello!

This is my first time using Alteryx. I noticed that the design on my computer screen looks a bit weird. The workflow configuration tab takes 50% of the screen space.

I tried some solutions here

also here

It still does not work. The second solution messed up my Windows size. My windows size looks very small when I decreased the configuration to 100%.

I wonder if there's any solution for this. Thank you so much!

*I use Windows10 btw.

You can simple adjust the size of canvas by dragging the border around.

Thanks for replying. Yes, we can simply drag that. However,  it looks a bit inconvenient. Is there any better solution for this?

I am sorry that seems I was missing the point.
anyway, check if the "save Layout & Setting on Exit" option is checked or not.

yes it's checked, but nothing changed.

How about the option "Save Layout & Setting now"? 
After arranged your layout then click this option, and it works on my side.
