Tableau Output Error

Hi All, 

I am trying to write data to tableau server but getting the error message below. does anyone know what could be causing the issue. I am getting the error with both tableau output 1.4.0 and 1.3.0.. i have tested the workflow in both my companies preferred designer 2022.1 and the latest 2023.1

Tableau Output (378) Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

This was working perfectly a few weeks ago and is now very temperamental. 

Is anyone have a similar issue and can assist.

Anything else changed besides your Alteryx version / Tableau Output version? Seems odd. Have you also raised a support ticket?

Yes, the same issue here. Works the best just ONE output in ONE workflow, but as soon as you try to add additional connection it fails.

 In addition to the mentioned error, I got also:

1. “Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)”
2. “Failed to signin to Tableau”
3. “NoneType” object has no attribute “get”
4. “Failed to connect to the server"Thanks

Yes, it depends what you are using in the workflow >

This error usually appears if you have more than 1 outputs in your workflow. By using the "Block Until Done" tool - you will allow to the server establish the "handshake" properly and the error would be resolved. Tested with 30 + output in one workflow. Just make sure they executed in sequence

I personally get this error with one output but only when I run my workflow from the gallery. The workflow runs fine on my Designer and also when I run it directly on the Designer of our server. However, it fails miserably when I try to run it from the gallery. Anyone knows how to solve this issue?

How are you connecting to your Tableau output? via DCM?

No DCM, the workflow is just composed of a text input and a tableau output tool. I'm currently testing the tableau output tool for my client but I get this "Expecting value: line 1 column 1" error when I run the workflow on the gallery.
