Hi Community,
I'm building a workflow that relies heavily on Sharepoint Tools. My challenge for now has been to find a way to automatically read data using Sharepoint Input tool directly from Sharepoint site when the extension file is TXT, however, TXT is not an accepted extension for the SP Input tool.
How to solve this? Have any of you come across this issue? I would like by any extent to avoid downloading this locally for later processing. The files refer to heavy activity load and are very heavy.
I would try to create a Power Automate flow to convert all TXT files to CSV files and then process in the SP tool but also having trouble to find something that actually works.
Thanks!
Hi
Did you get a way forward on this?
Thanks
@Siphuthando_Lubelwana unfortunately, no. Had to use a workaround where the files are downloaded through the Sharepoint input tool in .txt and saved to a local folder, and then to include a Directory + Dynamic Input tool to pass/read the data.
Hi Bruno,
How did you get around the invalid extension error? I tried the "download file locally for later processing", giving error.
Thanks.
Can you send here the error? Didn't encounter this before. Usually once you set the files you need to get in the Sharepoint Input tool it would download without a problem.
