Running Alteryx workflow from a server

I am facing an issue. My file server & SQL server is located in another country. This file server contains my

1. Input file

2. Alteryx workflow

These files are accessed by multiple team members who are in the same country except me. I am staying in another country

. When I run the workflow from the server it is super slow and outputing to the SQL server ends up as error.

What I do as a work around is , I copy the workflow and the input file to my local drive, remap it and run the workflow. This is taking too much time. - But still have the file processed. But I still have another issue of updating the SQL.

My question

1. How can I improve the import to the SQL server ? Reducing the transaction limit OR bulk insert

2. Any tips of running the file directly from the server ?
