Retain duplicates

Hi,

I have data on Department, stock # and profit. Some stock #s appear in multiple departments and I want to identify those & the profit attributed to each department.

I can use a unique tool to find the stock # with duplicates, but what is the best way to then filter the original data to show only those stock #s with profit attributed to each department

On the output anchor of duplicates, place a select and only pass the stock number field. Next connect a unique tool to output the uniquely duplicated stock numbers. Now you can join the data that was sent into the connect tool with these stock numbers. In the join, deselect the right stock numbers. The data passing through the join ancho is the data that you’re interested in.

Cheers,

Mark
