Reading .txt file from .zip file

HI everyone,

I am trying to pull the .txt file delimited with '|'. from the zip file but I am unable to do it. Can anyone please suggest me how to get this

Hi @Pravallika20, just drag and drop the zip file into Alteryx. It should pop up a new window asking to select the file name and how to parse that file. Select CSV.

Then on the input data tool change the delimiter to |, it's on line 9.

When I was trying to pull the text file from the zip folder which is present inside the 2 subfolders, I was unable to access it. Can u pls help me in this one?

Hi @Pravallika20, if you have multiple folders within the zip it is going to show you all those folder when you drag the file into Alteryx.
