Re-arrange some tools

I feel Laboratory Tools have been misplaced.

For ex:

Transpose In-DB should be re-positioned to In-Database

Make Column will go to Transform

JSON build may originally belong to Developer and

Charting may be a Reporting Tool?

Am I wrong? If not, then Laboratory would be empty? What should fit in there?

Any suggestions?

@r4upadhye, the tools in 'laboratory' are categorized as such because they are not for production use. They may have documented known issues, may not be feature complete, and are subject to change.

Hi,

It's good to explore the toolsets!

As the Alteryx Help states:

"This tool category contains new tools that have documented, known issues or are not feature complete. They have been tested for stability and will be optimized in program updates. Your feedback when using these tools is appreciated. Submit feedback to the Alteryx Community"

So they are new tools that are put in the lab first for people to test and comment on. Then when they are fully developed they will be moved to the appropriate toolset.
