Python Tool Disappeared?

Hello,

I recently installed the latest version of Alteryx, which is 2023.1.1.247 (Patch 2).

After the installation finished, I open Alteryx Designer and unable to find the Python tool anywhere.

The workflow which have the Python Tool also turned into Generic Tool

Has anyone have the same issue or know how to fix it?

Appreciate if anyone could help!

Did you install Admin or Non-Admin version? Sometimes, when you remove previous versions after updating, some tools can go missing. Check if REGEX tool or other tools are there in other palletes or not.

 

If other tools are missing, then I recommend a clean wipe of your Alteryx by uninstalling everything and re-installing. Your Python tool should come back.
