Python/R installation

Hello all,

 

At soon, I'm planning to install Python & R to my computer, and I don't want to harm with Alteryx installed Python/R configuration. On my old computer I messed up, and I don't want to make a mistake again. This is a brand new computer, and I installed Alteryx Designer Admin 2023.2 with the latest patches. 

 

Any suggestions what to do or not to do?

 

Thanks in advance

 

PS: The R/Python installation most likely will be pushed my computer per company policy.

There should be no effect if you have a different python version/environment and if you are not linking the two R installs (ie the same package folders) there should be minimal issue.
