I've been trying to set up the "Publish to Tableau Server" tool. My company uses SSO, which for some reason prevents the tool from establishing a connection when I enter my username and password. We're using Tableau Online if that matters. I found this article that suggests using a personal Tableau token to login, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm a bit unclear on the steps needed to modify the macro. When I tried adding parameters for the personal token, the Publish to Tableau Server macro now has a field for every text input field which doesn't seem right.
Does anyone have step-by-step instructions for how they've used a personal Tableau token to publish to Tableau Online?
