Profile Time

Hi,

I got a long job and trying to improve to cut down the run time. I am a bit confused by the reported Profile Time. My input tool read around135 million records and the reported data input Profile Time is 2843302.11ms. But in the log file, the data input last about 4hr25min.

Anyone knows how the Profile Time was defined?

Where do you get the 4h25 information in the log ?

The timeline info is available in the log file when you setup a log folder under "User Settings" from the "Options" menu.

Where 04:25:0.691 is the elapsed time, I believe.

Yes it is but I'd rather say it's 4 minutes and 25 seconds. Are there any steps before this entry in your logs ?

Sorry it is not 4 minutes and 25 seconds. I was checking that job periodically and the Designer finished running the workflow in 4:39 hours. The Profile Time for the Input tool is 2843302ms which is around 47 minutes. See attached file for all entries in the log file. Thank you.
