I'm new to Alteryx and I cannot figure out why its functioning the way it is. I've set up a workflow to populate an xlsx spreadsheet with my results. The output option I selected was to Overwrite Sheet (drop) so it saves over the old copy with the new copy each time. However, I've noticed that its saving both an xlsx version and an xlsx.bak file. I'm not sure what the xlsx.bak file is and I'd like it to not save as that. Any suggestions on how or if I can stop that from happening would be great. Thanks,

It's a backup file and is normal for it to do this. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the input. I had a feeling it was a backup but wasn't sure.
Glad I could help! 😄
In my case Alteryx is saving only 20% of the data under .xlsx whereas remaining 80% seems like under .xlsx.bak (by looking at file size).
How to avoid this? This is happening randomly and not in all scenarios.
