On | Off for Outputs

Is there a setting or macro that allows you to turn an Output Tool on | off or just block it while you are making changes elsewhere?  No, I don't want to put it in a Tool Container and disable the box or throw a bunch of Detours on the canvas.  I just want to right click it and select block or un-block from the pop-up menu or check something.  The CReWBlockAllRecords is cool, but dangerous (for me) as it can over write an existing output file with no values (as it keeps reminding me).

Hi @hellyars

Easy way is to put output tool into a container and toggle it off. Why dont you want to use container ? Are you looking for a dynamic toggle on/off?

This sound like what container is doing😅

@atcodedog05   Mac person, I want it simple.  Too many boxes.  Right click boom.  Save energy -- and its so far away to the right on a 21:9 screen. Right click on any tool or output to stop everything from that point forward.  No boxes needed.  Great for quick troubleshooting scenarios.  Speaking of the boxes, don't get me started with Alteryx's Windows95  text editing options and colors.

@hellyars it would be cool to add the idea of right click to toggle on/off to this recent idea

https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Ideas/Workflow-Outputs-switched-off-indicator/idi-...

As @atcodedog05 mentions the only option to globally turn off outputs is the tick box in the workflow configuration, or individually with tool containers. So I think your idea would be a great addition.
