Alteryx Community is the best way to begin with. Also there are lot of YouTube videos available to  help you understand designer better. 

Also watching the interactive lessons and solving weekly challenges would help too.

I see that you are learning this as part of the Accounting class. There are many good resources in the community, as many have pointed out such as the interactive lessons, the weekly challenges and Youtube.
