MySQL In-DB Connection Suddenly Stopped Working

I have a MySQL In-DB connection using the Simba Driver that has been working great since May. It suddenly stopped working for both me and my coworker. A test connection inside the connection manager get stuck on "Testing Connection in Progress", and when i try to select the connection in the Connect In-DB tool the whole application freezes and needs to be closed from the task manager.

Assuming you didn't update Alteryx ---> Check with your upstream DB/Cloud team to see if they updated anything on your MySql instance (ie network policies/mysql version)... Turn on full logging on your ODBC -> check out the logs. Assuming you didn't update Alteryx this sounds like something internal either with your MySQL db or with a windows policy.
