Multiple Spreadsheet to Master Spreadsheet Automation

Hello,

I've been away from Alteryx for over two years, and now I'm back and have a question for the community.

I have three spreadsheets and one master spreadsheet. On a weekly basis, I would like to manually update the three spreadsheets, save it to a shared folder, and have Alteryx automatically replace the existing data in the master spreadsheet with the updated data. Is Alteryx capable of doing this and if so, what's the best course of action? Thank you for your time.

This is indeed possible. You can connect Alteryx to the shared folder using the Directory module and dynamically pick up the relevant files - see here for more details.

You will then perform the transformations as needed and overwrite/append to the Master spreadsheet using the Output data module.

If you will union the 3 inputs and output to master file, you can keep the master file format.

The latest Alteryx has the option to preserve the format now.
