Missing ActiveX component

Hello,

I have inherited some vbs code that helps support alteryx workflow runs.

I currently have an ActiveX error on the line below:

Set objEngine = CreateObject("AlteryxComEngine.AlteryxComEngine.1")

please could you let me know a resolution. I have looked within my install files and cannot find "C:\Program Files\Alteryx\bin\AlteryxComEngine.dll" file which may be causing the problem.

Hey @ZJames - I'm pretty sure that using Alteryx in this way (by calling out to the engine DLL) is not supported by Alteryx (even thought in the past, many people did this).    Is your understanding that this is being used to kick off remote execution?

It's well worth working through this with your Customer Success rep about this specific case.
