List is getting overwritten after the output

Hi - 

I have created list (Category) and dependent list (Sub category) in the excel template which should appear at the next column (Col AN and AO) of my final output from Alteryx - Alteryx output ends at Column AM.

I have specified the range (A01:AM50000) in Alteryx 2020.2.3 and also selected preserve formatting on overwrite option.

But once I run the Alteryx workflow, the list and dep list is getting removed and headers are not. I checked inserting some random data instead of list in those columns and it is not getting removed. only if I create a list and dependency list, then it is getting removed.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can you attach an example with the replicated issue? It'd make it a little easier to diagnose.
