Hi,

I'm working with some SAS datasets.

I'm wondering if there is a way to read te "last modified date" information.

Something like using the directory tool on a localy saved dataset.

Regards.

Hi @mauricio

Are the datasets in the format of a .sas7bdat file? Are these located in a folder? Could you please provide more details?

Thanks,

Hi @Thableaus

Yes I think they are .sas7bdat files. The files are located in a lib (kind of folder) inside the SAS server.

@mauricio

Couldn't you simply connect to this folder with the Directory Tool and get the "Last Write Time" column for each file?

Cheers,

@Thableaus  infortunately I dont know how to do it, since the file is stored in the sas server.

It whold be necessary to pass thru the server authentication and the SAS "folders" work a little bit different compared with the windows folders.
