Is there any way to extract stream/data from Kafka?

Hi @konstako,

 

There is no dedicated connector for Apache Kafka in Alteryx.

 

 

That said, Kafka website (https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/Clients) mentions a few clients. So, it may be possible to use either a Download tool to connect via REST or Run Command tool to use a command line client. Unfortunately, this is not something that I have tested.

hi,

has anyone built or used a Rest API or something else to connect with Apache Kafka to feed into Alteryx Designer? I went to the Kafka site showing supported tools and Alteryx was not one of them. The last inquiry in this community seemed to be in Feb 2017. Anyone have any stories to share?
