Inconsistencies in shared workflow

I'm hoping some can help with this issue. We have a workflow in a shared onedrive folder. When my colleague and myself open the workflow, we are noticing differences and are struggling to work out why. The workflow appears to be complete when my colleague opens the file but some of the connectors are missing when I open the same file. Has anybody in the community faced this issue themselves and can anyone advise? Thank you in anticipation.

the reason you are having the issue is because you are missing with the tool used and you will be getting a "?" in place of tool
this can be a tool or macro missing.
