Identifying product order sequence

Dear Alteryx Community,

I've been enjoying many of the great answers around here since I started my Alteryx journey this year and now is finally the time to ask for help myself, as I cannot seem to Google my way to the answer!

I'm hoping to get any kind of help to figure out how to solve my problem.

I have a dataset containing:

- order data

- specific product

- dates of purchase

I'm interested in giving each product an "Order #" based on date of purchase So the first order (based on date of purchase) would be numbered #1 and so on. What I hope to get as a result is something like this:

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Dear @Archi,

Nice of you to start working with Alteryx, good luck using this wonderful tool.

I would advise you to use the multi-row formula.

You find a suggested workflow attached.

Best,
Yalmar
