Hello everyone,

I'm seeking suggestions on the best approach for a task at hand. We receive a quarterly report as an Excel file and our objective is to present the data in a PowerPoint (PPT) format. After some exploration, I have discovered a solution for automating the PPT creation process, thanks to https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Maveryx-Use-Cases/Adidas-Automates-PowerPoint-Presentations-to-Save... and Caltang https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Desktop-Discussions/Automation/m-p/1198602/highlig...

However, I'm facing a challenge regarding how to link the unique strings in the PPT with the corresponding data in the Excel file. The automation process I found includes using a text input, but this doesn't align with the idea of fully automating the report generation. I'm currently stuck in this aspect and would greatly appreciate any suggestions on how to establish a connection between the unique values in the Excel file and their representation in the PPT, if that makes sense.

Thank you.

Maybe you can better visualize your "want" with a PPT slide itself? What do you want Alteryx to do ideally?

But I want the process to be automated:(

We receive the same data structure every month, and it is a huge dataset. If we can use Alteryx to create a unique identifier for this and run the automated workflow for the PowerPoint presentation, it would save us so much time and prevent human errors.
