How to pass custom sql to AWS athena through Simba Athena ODBC driver?

I am trying to pass custom sql to AWS athena through Simba Athena ODBC driver, but it would not return any results. Looks like the simba driver is not supporting the custom sql. Is there any way to submit custom sql to athena and extract the custom sql data from athena into alteryx designer?

You can definitely use the SQL Editor (custom SQL) in an Input tool with the Simba Athena ODBC driver . Can you give us any details on what error you are receiving, what version of the driver you're using, etc?
