Hello, here is a sample dataset with fake data to mock-up the table design I am going for:
Starting Dataset in Alteryx:
restaurant | restaurant_address | restaurant_phone_number | item | item_price | item_score |
Ray's Chicken | 930 Thompson Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 | (549) 215-2737 | Chicken Sandwich | $6 | 4 |
Ray's Chicken | 930 Thompson Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 | (549) 215-2737 | Chicken Tenders | $5 | 8 |
Ray's Chicken | 930 Thompson Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 | (549) 215-2737 | Chicken Pot Pie | $7 | 5 |
McDonald | 575 S. Coffee St., Green Bay, WI 54302 | (385) 700-8314 | Big Mac | $5 | 3 |
McDonald | 575 S. Coffee St., Green Bay, WI 54302 | (385) 700-8314 | Chicken Nuggets | $3 | 5 |
Greg's Ice Cream | 7595 Fordham Street, Prattville, AL 36067 | (469) 674-0693 | Vanilla | $4 | 7 |
Greg's Ice Cream | 7596 Fordham Street, Prattville, AL 36067 | (469) 674-0694 | Chocolate | $4 | 6 |
Greg's Ice Cream | 7597 Fordham Street, Prattville, AL 36067 | (469) 674-0695 | Strawberry | $4 | 5 |
I do not want repeated information so I would like for the reporting table to look like this instead:
Goal (group-by restaurant name):
Of course the real dataset has more and varying number of fields but the gist of it remains the same. How would I achieve my design using the report table tool? Using the group-by option yielded similar results to the first table when I need something more like the mock-up image.
Thank you.
