How to Insert Data from a Specific Tool with the Send Mail Event Feature

Hi Everyone, 

 

I am trying to create a "Send Mail Event" for a workflow that will be uploaded to server. This workflow contains the "Email" tool, and I want it to send an email with how many messages the workflow sent. The only way I figure out how to do that is using the %OutputTool%, but that includes a lot of information our partners do not care about. Is there a way to either specifically list how many emails were sent?
