How create columns with specific dates for all the rows

I had used text input to add "YYYY-MM-DD" into the input however it turns out the result to be "null" in the cell? 

I am a new user to Alteryx, please help as I need to add a "start date" column and an "end date" column, and the start dates and end dates are the same for all the rows, please anyone if could assist, appreiciated
