Google BigQuery repose too large error

Hi all,

Has anyone come into this issue with trying to pull data from Google BigQuery?

Error: Input Data (1): Error SQLExecute: [Simba][BigQuery] (20) Query execution failed: Response too large to return. Consider setting allowLargeResults to true in your job configuration. For more information, see https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/troubleshooting-errors

I've looked in Google BigQuery and it looks like it is enabled for allowLargeResults but I am still getting this error. Is there some setting in Alteryx I should also be looking for?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check if the 'Use Native Query' box is checked; if so, uncheck it and try again.

The Native Query Box is unchecked.

I would recommend contacting support@alteryx.com and include a copy of your workflow so they can look at the specifics of your workflow.

Has this been looked into?  I have started using bigquery and I want to pull 150 from bigquery into my data warehouse and I get the same message.

I am currently working with Alteryx support to diagnose what the issue is. I will post what their solution is once I have it.

I got the same error:

Error SQLExecute: [Simba][DSI] An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the error message for key 'GApiErr' with message parameters ['Response too large to return. Consider specifying a destination table in your job configuration. For more details, see https://cloud.google.com/bigquery/troubleshooting-errors'] and component ID 100: Message not found in file "C:\Program Files\Simba ODBC Driver for Google BigQuery\ErrorMessages\en-US\SimbaBigQueryODBCMessages.xml"
