Fuzzy Matching - Same Source

I currently have a single source stage table of credit card transactions that have merchant name listed as one of the transaction fields.

In many cases the merchant name varies but the merchant is the same.

For instance, I have an entry for WM SUPERCENTER #1234 and another for WM SUPERCENTER #5678...and those are the ones that play nice!!

How can I use (or can I) fuzzy matching to merge these into a single merchant?

If you right click the fuzzy match tool from the tool bar, you can 'Open Example' which will give a deeper explanation of how the fuzzy match tool can be used. Here is how I think you want to use it.
