Filling in field blank/empty/Null values

Hi

As does Excel, when filling-down values in a Column, I can replicate such in Designer using a formula expression within a Multi-Row tool (2 rows).

Adversely, when attempting to fill-up in Designer, there is no such option, other than for a single row.

My work-around is to assign a RecordID to the rows, sort descending, apply the formula, then resort ascending.

Does anyone have any alternate solutions other than this?

Hi @HomesickSurfer That's the best way that I've seen it done. I'll be following this thread to see if others have other ideas. Power Query has 'fill-up' functionality, so I'd imagine Alteryx could have an easier way to do it.

Hi @Luke_C

I have found a different approach that appears to work.

@KarolinaRoza has posted a probable solution!
