Excel Files Corrupt Upon Output

Greetings Alteryx Community,

I'm new to Alteryx and really just starting to wade into these waters so any advise will be helpful and welcome.  When using Alteryx Designer I am able to run workflows created by other people and open the output files with no problem.  However, when I create a workflow from scratch, even very simple ones, they show to have completed successfully and the files update as they should in the destination folder.  However when I try to open the file (Excel) it says something went wrong with the file and asks if I'd like to try to recover the data.  When I say yes, it says the file is in use by "another user" and gives me the option of opening a "Read Only" file.  After a minute or so it will open but only in a read only format.

Here's a sample of the workflow I'm executing, as you can see it's very simple, and is just copying one worksheet from one Excel file and overwriting it into another Excel file.
