Error Connecting to SQL Database

Although the SQL Server whitelisted my IP addresses and I am being able to log in through the Remote Desktop Connection but when I put the credentials & server name on Alteryx --> SQL Database --> Quick Connect I am getting Error 08001. Screenshot attached.

Is this error something related to SQL server access or it is something from specific to local configuration of Alteryx?

Hi @waelfarah 

Try to connect to the SQL server from your machine using SSMS or create an ODBC connection to the server from your local machine using ODBC Data Source Administrator.    If you can't connect through either of those methods, may be there is firewall blocking the port, either the default 1433 or a custom port number, if used.
