Date calculation

Hi Alteryx Community

How do I calculate a start date with a known end date, for quarterly dates?

Ex. Reporting date = 30 September 2020. I want to calculate the start date of 1 July 2020.

That solution will only work for givens dates i wont work dynamically for other dates.

Mine and @Emil_Kos  suggested solutions are dynamic.
