Date Interface on the Database Table

Hi 

Help required in building a date interface on the Database table i.e in Connect-in DB, Provide an example if possible.

Ex: need to search for a particular period in the data base using the date interface,in the below image i created the date interface but need to know how to connect this to a particular field in database either by Connect in-DB ,Dynamic input in-DB

Thanks for the workflow i tried the same but problem is in the database the date format is yyyymmdd but the input we provide is different that is the reason, i am seeing no output values. can you please suggest to rectify this. i tried using the update values with formula in action and tried the formula there it did not work.

I would suggest to keep the date value same in filter and action textfield..i found this issue many times. 

Just try once may you get the results.
