Data Separation and Organization

Good day all,

I have recently started learning Alteryx and thoroughly enjoy its friendly UI and productivity-boosting software for cleaning up Excel sheets. Quick question though, I am working on multiple reports that can be downloaded to Excel from my company's core system. How would one go about separating a list of about 100-200 transactions to only indicate those that are $1,000,000.00 and above and have the end result be in one column?

Thank you,

Patrick T.

It might prove useful if you could provide a sample (fake data) of what the data looks like when imported into Alteryx as well as an example of how you want it to look when outputted.

Hi @ptanner0

Without seeing your data, I would suggest that a Filter tool will be the way to go.

1.  Load your data

2.  Add a filter Tool selecting the field in question, i.e. Amount and setting the criteria to be >= 1000000.00

3.  Output your data to an excel file.
