Crew Macro List Runner error

I am trying to use the List Runner tool from the Crew Macros and am getting the following errors:

Error: List Runner (1): Tool #3: Iteration #1: Tool #5: Record #1: Tool #2: Tool #2: The external program "SupportingExes\AlteryxRunner.exe" returned an error code: -1073741502

Error: List Runner (1): Tool #3: The output connection "Logs" was not valid

I recently updated to version 2025.2. Before I did that I was able to use the List Runner tool with no problem. This only started after the update. I uninstalled and reinstalled both Alteryx Designer and the Crew macros, but that did not help.

Thanks for any help.

As with any new version, using the bleeding edge is going to put you out there in the front of the pack experiencing the brunt of issues and incompatibilities until downstream features, like third-party macro's are checked, remediated, resolved, and validated.

If you depend on this macro, you may want to consider backing off to 2025.1 or whichever version was functioning as expected.

What are you ultimately needing to accomplish?  Could you consider a new approach to side-step the list runner error altogether?

For example, if you need to run parts of your workflow in sequence, should you consider using Control Containers instead?

I now don't think it is a version issue. I just had a co-worker update her version and she was able to run the same workflow with the List Runner tool and had no problem.

I am trying to run over 100 workflows sequentially. Just what the List Runner tool is perfect for.😀

Interesting.  Glad you were at least able to isolate the problem, albeit never fun to know it's your own issue 😀

As you stated, orchestrating that many workflows is what the list-runner excels at.  I hope you can get it to work.  Otherwise, Cloud Orchestration with workflow Plans (Alteryx One) could be a useful thing to explore in the future.
