Converting time in the format 32.75 to 32:45:00

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all good.

I'm trying to convert hours in the format 32.75 to 32:45:00

As long as the hours are below 24, for an example 24.75 the below formula works fine:

datetimeformat(DateTimeAdd("1901-01-01 00:00:00", 60*[dummy column],"minutes"),"%H:%M:%S")

but when it comes to convert 32.75 it doesn't work.

I searched the forum and tried different formulas but nothing works.

Please see examples below

Current formatExpected format
1.2501:15:00
202:00:00
3.503:30:00
32.7532:45:00

Anyone has an idea how to do it?

Many thanks for help!

I believe the alteryx works just fine.

The hour will not exceeding 24 since we are having 24 hours in a day.

If you really want to convert 32.75 to 32.45, it will not be in DateTime format.
