Connect to SQL Database

Hi,

 

I am currently unable to connect to the SQL database. I tried datasources> Microsoft SQL server quick connect>entered my credentials but it's not connecting error [HY000] right away when I press test even though my credentials are working... please help!

Hello @Joy1,

 

The code HY000 only identifies a general error associated to SQL  (not to alteryx). Does it give anything else? any other error or value? It could be many things, running out of memory, not allowing multiple connections, not allowing multiple queries etc.

 

Try using another odbc and another program like ssis and show what happens.
